The insulation is RDS-certified (Responsible Down Standard) 800-fill-power goose down — fill power measures the loft and warmth-for-weight of the down — in a thermal body-mapped design: large baffles at the front and back for core warmth, smaller baffles at the sides and sleeves for less bulk. Reinforced overlays on the front body and sleeves add durability where wear concentrates, softshell overlays on the yoke, collar stand, and zipper garages handle abrasion from packs and gear, and 3D patterning delivers a women's-specific fit.
