Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 5, 2026
1. Who we are
Escape Outdoors is an outdoor clothing and gear retailer. Our online store at escapeoutdoors.com is operated by Urban Trading LLC, and our store at Bellevue Square is operated by DeStephano Consulting Inc. Both companies do business as Escape Outdoors, and this policy applies to both. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean these two companies.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, our store, and the emails we send.
The short version: we use your information to run our business, fill your orders and, if you sign up, send you emails. We do not sell your personal information.

| Messages | Questions, reviews, support requests | You, when you contact us |
We don't knowingly collect sensitive information such as health data, government ID numbers or financial account numbers.
3. How we use your information
- To fill your orders: process payments, ship purchases, handle returns, exchanges and warranty claims, and send order and shipping updates.
- To run our store: manage inventory, keep accounts and sales records, and meet our tax and legal obligations.
- To send marketing emails, if you sign up: new arrivals, offers and member discounts. We keep a record of when and how you signed up.
- To improve our website and advertising: understand which pages and products people look at and which ads work.
- To help you: answer questions and resolve problems.
- To protect our business and customers: prevent fraud, spam signups and misuse of our website.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't give or rent our customer lists to other companies.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business. They may use it only to provide their service to us.
| Type of service provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Online store and checkout platform | Hosts our website, checkout and customer accounts |
| Point-of-sale system | Processes in-store sales and receipts |
| Payment processors | Process payments securely |
| Shipping carriers and shipping software | Deliver your orders |
| Inventory and order management software | Track stock and fulfil orders |
| Email delivery providers | Send our emails and handle unsubscribes and bounces |
| Website hosting and security providers | Run our website and block spam and bots |
| Analytics and advertising partners | Measure website use and show our ads (see section 5) |
| Professional advisers | Accountants and lawyers, when needed |
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.
5. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar tools. Some are needed for the site to work, such as keeping items in your cart and keeping you logged in. Others help us understand how the site is used and measure our ads.
- Analytics: tools that show us which pages and products people view.
- Advertising: our advertising partners' tools tell us when someone who clicked an ad makes a purchase, and may show our ads to people who visited our site.
- Bot protection: a security check that confirms signups come from real people.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site, like the cart, may stop working. You can also manage ad preferences in your accounts with the major ad platforms, or opt out of interest-based ads from many companies at optout.aboutads.info.
Do Not Track: our website does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
6. Our emails
We send marketing emails only to people who sign up on our website or opt in at checkout. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and unsubscribing takes effect right away.
Even after you unsubscribe, we will still send emails about your orders, such as receipts, shipping updates and return confirmations. We keep the email addresses of people who unsubscribe on a do-not-email list so we never email them by mistake.
Our emails may contain small images or tracked links that tell us whether an email was opened or a link clicked. We use this to send fewer emails people don't want, and to stop emailing people who never open them. We do not send marketing text messages.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- See the personal information we have about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information, except what we must keep for legal, tax or warranty reasons
- Stop marketing emails (or use the unsubscribe link in any email)
To make a request, email us at privacy@escapeoutdoors.com or ask in our store. We'll confirm who you are before acting on a request, and respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.
You can also update your account details yourself by logging in to your account at escapeoutdoors.com.
California residents: California law lets you ask what personal information we collect and how we use it, and you can make the requests above. We do not sell personal information.
8. How we protect it
We use service providers with strong security, encrypted connections (HTTPS) on our website, and restricted, password- and two-factor-protected access for our staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can see it.
9. How long we keep it
- Order and sales records: for as long as we operate, because they support returns, warranty claims, your purchase history and our tax and accounting records
- Email signup and consent records: for as long as you're subscribed, and afterward as proof of your consent
- Do-not-email list: permanently, so we never email you again after you unsubscribe
- Account details: until you close your account or ask us to delete it
- Website analytics: as set by our analytics providers
If you ask us to delete your information, we will, except for records we must keep for legal, tax or warranty reasons.
10. Children
Our website and emails are not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and for significant changes we'll let customers know by email or a notice on our website.
