The shell is MIKROTEX 100% 20-denier nylon — denier being a measure of fiber thickness — with a C6 durable water repellent (DWR) finish at 38 grams per square meter (GSM), woven extremely tight for durable down-proofing plus wind and water resistance, with a self overlay on the front body and sleeves for extra protection. TUFFLEX 88% nylon / 12% spandex softshell (180 GSM) reinforces the shoulders for carrying skis or gear, and stretch underarm gussets add mobility. The insulation is RDS-certified (Responsible Down Standard) 800-fill-power goose down — fill power measures the loft and warmth-for-weight — body-mapped with larger baffles front and back and smaller baffles at the sides and sleeves.
