The Women's Torrentshell 3L is Patagonia's most-relied-on women's rain jacket — the piece that earns its place in a closet by being there every time the forecast turns. Simple, unpretentious construction backed by Patagonia's H2No® Performance Standard for waterproof/breathable performance you can verify, not just trust.
It's built from a 3-layer shell: a 50-denier ECONYL® 100% recycled nylon ripstop face, a polycarbonate polyurethane membrane with 13% biobased content, a tricot backer, and a durable water repellent (DWR) finish — fabric, membrane, and DWR all made without intentionally added PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, the 'forever chemicals'). A two-way-adjustable hood with a laminated visor rolls down and stows, a microfleece-lined neck sits soft against the skin, pit zips with welted storm flaps vent high-output movement, and it self-stuffs into a handwarmer pocket with a carabiner clip-in loop. It's made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory in Vietnam.
