It's built around 60-gram PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco — 100% postconsumer recycled polyester made with P.U.R.E.™ (Produced Using Reduced Emissions) technology — which keeps you warm even when the weather turns damp, since PrimaLoft holds its heat when wet.
The wind-cutting shell is a 1.4-ounce, 20-denier (a measure of fiber thickness) 100% recycled polyester ripstop with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, the 'forever chemicals'), and the fabrics are bluesign® approved. Signature horizontal brick quilting stabilizes the insulation, an evolved fit reshapes the shoulders and armholes with a slightly longer body for easier layering, a self-stuffing chest pocket doubles as a stuffsack with a carabiner clip-in loop, and a drawcord-adjustable drop-tail hem seals in warmth.
