The Men's Upshift Short is an in-or-out-of-water hybrid built around KÜHL's UPSHIFT™ construction — a lightweight nylon / polyester performance blend designed for paddleboard days, hiking, swimming, and any summer rotation where one short needs to handle both wet and dry use. The fabric is the UPSHIFT Nylon / Polyester performance blend at 169 grams per square meter (GSM) — a measure of fabric weight — durable, lightweight, soft, and water-resistant with quick-dry performance, so it sheds moisture without becoming a stiff board short. Stretch construction adds comfort and freedom of movement, UPF (ultraviolet protection factor) 50+ covers exposed skin with maximum sun protection, and a zipper-secured right back pocket keeps a phone safe after a dip.
