The Women's Descendit Jacket is the updated version of one of The North Face's most-recommended classic ski shells — proven resort performance without specialized cuts or premium pricing. It's built around a completely waterproof, windproof, and breathable seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L (two-layer) shell with a non-PFC (perfluorinated-chemical-free) durable water repellent (DWR) finish, and lightweight Heatseeker™ insulation for dependable warmth without bulk.
The on-mountain details are all dialed. An attached, adjustable, helmet-compatible hood delivers resort-ready coverage, a snap-down powder skirt with gripper elastic seals out off-piste snow, and underarm venting regulates temperature when your output climbs. Layered storage includes covered secure-zip hand pockets, a secure-zip wrist pocket with a goggle wipe, and an internal secure-zip chest pocket with a media port, while adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs and an internal two-point hem cinch-cord seal out weather and dial in the shape.
