The Recon Backpack is the larger-capacity sibling to The North Face's classic Borealis — a proven daypack reimagined for daily-rotation use where smaller packs run out of space. Organization is the Recon's calling card. A dedicated, protective 16-inch laptop compartment keeps your device safe, a large main compartment swallows books and binders, and a front compartment adds secure-zip pockets and a padded tablet sleeve. An external stretch-mesh pocket handles quick-stash layers, daisy-chain webbing adds lash points for extra gear, side and bottom compression straps stabilize partial or full loads, and an external fleece-lined pocket protects sunglasses and a phone.
