The Men's Freedom Insulated Jacket is the insulated addition to The North Face's fan-favorite Freedom line — 100% recycled waterproof coverage, all-condition warmth, and the on-mountain features that distinguish a real ski jacket from a winter coat. It pairs a waterproof, breathable, seam-sealed DryVent™ 2L (two-layer) shell with a non-PFC (perfluorinated-chemical-free) durable water repellent (DWR) finish and Heatseeker™ synthetic insulation, whose hollow-core fibers hold warmth even when wet.
The resort details are all here. An attached, adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with hidden cord-lock adjustment gives real coverage, a snap-down powder skirt with gripper elastic seals out off-piste snow, and mesh-lined underarm venting regulates temperature under exertion. A chest pocket with an exposed YKK® AquaGuard® zip and cord routing, covered secure-zip hand pockets, a secure-zip wrist pocket with a goggle wipe, and a large internal mesh drop-in pocket handle layered organization, while adjustable hook-and-loop cuffs and a two-point internal hem cinch-cord complete the weather seal.
