The Women's R1® Air Vest is Patagonia's most-breathable women's technical fleece vest — lightweight, quick-drying construction in a core-warmer silhouette for cool-weather active use where full-sleeve insulation traps heat. It's built around the same R1 Air construction as the rest of the line.
It's built from a 5.7-ounce 100% recycled polyester jacquard fleece with hollow-core yarns, where a zigzag-knit pattern increases airflow and minimizes bulk for breathable, compressible performance; the fabric is bluesign® approved. The mobility-first full-zip vest runs a slim fit built for a full range of motion, offset shoulder seams sit comfortably under pack straps, and three pockets — one zippered left-chest and two front with minimal zippers — keep bulk down. Woven binding at the hem and armholes dries quickly with added stretch. It's made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory in Sri Lanka, meaning the people who built it earned a premium for their labor.
