The Men's Baggies™ Lights (6-inch) are Patagonia's lighter-weight take on the Baggies design — the same water-friendly NetPlus® construction and PFAS-free DWR as the classic 5-inch and 7-inch versions, with a zippered back pocket that the shorts stuff into for travel-ready packability. It's the amphibious short that disappears into a duffel.
They're built from a 4.4-ounce 96% NetPlus® postconsumer recycled nylon / 4% spandex plain weave made from recycled fishing nets, with a durable water repellent (DWR) finish made without intentionally added PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, the 'forever chemicals'); the fabric is bluesign® approved. A touch of spandex adds stretch for long walking days, an elasticized waistband with an external drawcord dials in the fit, vertical side pockets with mesh bags reduce drag and drain quickly, and a zippered back-right pocket doubles as a stuff sack for travel packing. The 6-inch inseam splits the difference between athletic and conservative cuts. Made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory in Indonesia.
