The 55-liter Black Hole® Duffel is the workhorse of Patagonia's Black Hole line at the travel sweet spot — sized for a fun-hog weekend or a well-organized extended trip, with the same legendary Black Hole construction across body, lining, and webbing. It handles ski trips, weekend bags, and multi-day travel without overcommitting to expedition scale.
It's built from a 14.1-ounce 900-denier 100% postconsumer recycled polyester ripstop with a matte recycled TPU-film laminate — weather- and abrasion-resistant throughout — with bluesign® approved lining and 100% recycled nylon webbing. Removable padded shoulder straps allow backpack carry, reinforced haul handles stand up to travel, a zippered side pocket doubles as a stuff sack, an interior mesh lid pocket keeps essentials handy, a padded base protects contents, and burly daisy chains add lashing. It fits roughly three Black Hole® Cubes (14L) and is made in a Fair Trade Certified™ factory in Vietnam.
