The fabric is a 2.5L (two-and-a-half-layer) polyester rain fabric rated 20,000 mm waterproof / 25,000 g/m² breathable at 110 grams per square meter (GSM) — a measure of fabric weight — with a PFC-free (perfluorinated-chemical-free) durable water repellent (DWR) finish. 4-way stretch delivers freedom of motion that traditional trench coats can't match, an internal soft-touch membrane sits soft against the skin, and fully seam-sealed construction with a YKK water-resistant center-front zipper keeps the weather out. The extended length adds coverage well beyond a standard hip-length shell.
