Synthetic lined lightweight puff jacket with a highly breathable and water repellent outer layer
The Xenair Alpine Light is a lightweight puff jacket that falls under the umbrella term softshell. The jacket can be used as an insulating layer under a waterproof jacket (hardshell), but also as a jacket in itself. The outer fabric is made of Pertex® Quantum Air and is therefore very breathable and water-repellent, so that rain and snow penetrate the outer fabric less quickly. An insulating lining of PrimaLoft ® Gold Active+ has been incorporated in the front, back, top of the sleeves and in the collar. In other places, the Xenair is lighter Primaloft lined to increase temperature regulation. This way you retain heat where you need it, but you also don't overheat. This combination of Pertex and Primaloft traps heat when you're stationary and provides effective airflow when you get more active. The Xenair is versatile: during light and fast hikes you can use the Xenair as a softshell jacket and in cool conditions as an insulating intermediate layer (puff jacket) under an outer layer. You can combine the hood with a climbing helmet. With this puff jacket and softshell, you will feel comfortably warm and dry during the most intensive outdoor sports activities.
