Ultralight construction, the best high loft insulation and body mapping technology give this down vest an extremely high warmth to weight ratio. We used ultra-warm 900FP down around the core and PrimaLoft® Gold zoned insulation on the shoulders and sides. This synthetic fill is not only warm, but also provides highly effective breathability when you're moving fast. It's quick-drying and durable, making it perfect for shoulders that may be exposed to changing weather or need to withstand the abrasion of heavy pack straps.
The tough and lightweight Pertex® Quantum outer material and lining are made of ripstop fabric that prevents punctures and resists abrasions from rock and ice. This 100% recycled fabric with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish can withstand light rain and snow, and the lightweight quilted construction not only minimizes weight but provides additional breathability. The slim fit, low bulk and high packability make it easy to stow in a pack or layer under other gear.
