Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Location: Escape Outdoors – Belleuve FT, Southcenter PT
Reports to: Store Manager


To assist the Store Manager in directing all activities required to achieve store sales goals, human resources management, payroll and operating

expenses, loss prevention, merchandising presentation. Ensure the customer experience is in line with the Escape Outdoors brand and company


Core Accountabilities:

-Drive store sales results monthly/quarterly/ annual sales goals by ensuring a consistent customer experience in store
-Recruit, interview, hire, develop and train store team to deliver the required performance objectives
-Manage and motivate staff, train and develop staff according to company policies.
-Set clear performance expectations and give appropriate recognition for performance
-Ensure completion of tasks within designated timeframes (Price changes, Special orders, Warranties, Processing Freight, Store transfers,

merchandising needs, Stockroom care.)
-Manage payroll costs and supplies that affect the profitable performance of the store.
-Maintain the stores organization, appearance and cleanliness.
-Delegate daily workload among associates to process freight ,meet merchandising and visual presentation standards
-Ensure compliance with all Loss Prevention practices including security rules.
-Share information and communicate clearly to all levels up and down he chain of command
-Centerstone knowledge - accessing information on future shipments and provide clear communication to management team on what is shipping

and once you have tracking on your shipments.


    -1-2 years management experience; retail specialty apparel preferred
    -High School graduate or equivalent 
    -A proven track record of training, motivating and coaching a sales team 
    -A high energy, high impact sales floor leader 
    -Exceptional interpersonal skills
    -A proven track record of driving sales to meet and/or exceed personal and store sales goals
    -Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business which will require evening and weekend shifts
    -Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
