I love this coat! I upgraded to this from a slightly lower-end North Face parka, and it was worth it. The fit is indeed flattering, and the material is soft and smooth. Overall it's very nice quality. And Escape Outdoors is selling it for $60 LESS than the store retail price! Highly recommend. I can't speak to how warm the coat is in frigid temperatures, as I live in Seattle, but it has kept me toasty on some 32-degree mornings. I haven't worn it in the rain yet so I'm not sure how it'll do, but my other North Face water-resistant coats are fine in the rain as long as I'm not in prolonged pouring rain.
