Made of a strong, lightweight and quick-drying 94% nylon (62% recycled)/6% spandex fabric, they give you plenty of flex for a week on the trail, 50+ UPF sun protection and have a weather-resistant DWR (durable water repellent) finish to resist mist and drizzle. The curved waistband follows your hips’ contours for a personalized fit; a gusseted crotch and knee articulation allow a full range of motion. With two front handwarmer pockets (right has a coin pocket), two rear pockets and a side leg pocket with security zipper, you’ll stay organized and know exactly where you put your keys (yeah, right). Purchased these for my brother and he loves them. He’s had them in grey for awhile and wears them constantly. Comfortable and good for daily wear as well as hiking and other outdoor activities.
I’ve already had a pair of these in gray for a couple years or so that I always wear for hiking, and I’ve liked them so much that I bought a second pair in tan, same size. The fit is consistent for both as far as I can tell - I am tall and skinny and they on the slim side but not too tight. The stretchiness is very comfortable too. I wear them year round and find them breathable enough for warm weather and water resistant enough for some snowy winter hiking too (within reason). My older pair has held up well so I expect this new pair will too. I also like the clean, simple, yet functional style of these a lot.
My only complaint is that the built-in belt string is pretty thin and can be annoying to tie & untie if you mess up. On my old pair I ended up cutting it off bc it got tangled up too much and I hated dealing with it. So now I always wear a separate belt instead, including with this new pair, because it’s way easier and stays up better. I don’t mind wearing a separate belt, but if you strongly prefer to use a built-in belt then there’s probably better pants out there. Otherwise these pants are perfect.
